That Red Mare supplied us with a blog hop! Basically before and after pictures of your horses. Hello photo dump! Enjoy.
Beginning with Copper. See captions.
First day of ownership. He was a 11 months old.
Three or four months later…this is a huge transformation in itself.
First show at halter. Where we accumulated our only ApHC points…ha. Or half points.
At two. Wasn’t riding yet, though I’d sat on him a handful of times.
After being ridden for about three months consistently. He was three here.
Second show at halter. 3 years old.
Same show, but under saddle. We won walk/trot. He was a good boy.
Same show, but with local A in the irons. 3 years old.
In 2014 at 7. yep, I skipped a lot between 3 and 7, but how many Copper pictures can this post have really?
Now, at 9.
Right after we bought her. She was 8 months old. I was 13.
She was 4, I was 17.
At 7 in 2009. Obviously I like putting text on pictures back then…
At 11 in 2013.
With Copper, at 14 this year.
And now, Paige. Not going to be a huge difference here unless you count that baby weight…
The day I bought her, 14 years old. I wish her mane still looked like that. Kinda scraggly now.
First ride after I brought her home. 14 years old.
First show with me. Not sure if she’d ever been in an arena with that many horses…she certainly was less calm than she is at home/on the trail. Not bad though, just a little jittery. I’d only known her a couple weeks though so it unnerved me.
One year of Paigey (give or take a couple months). 15 years old.
Hippo on a snow ride during 2015 winter.
This spring, 16 years old.
Late spring, 16 and pregnant. 😉
Now- 16 and very pregnant.
Emma’s sale ad photo. 🙂
Two donks! Maybe 4-6 months old in 2011.
Now(ish). They’re not the best models. haha
