Hi guys! I’m Sarah! I’m in my mid-twenties and I live in Southwest Virginia with my husband. I have four horses and four mini donkeys on the farm.
I also have three dogs, two Miniature Schnauzers and one hound mix? We aren’t sure, but she and her brother are both spoiled rotten. 🙂 We lost Sampson, a great dane rescue, back in January 2016 to osterosarcoma and he will always have a place in our hearts.
I’ve always enjoyed writing, so I got my Bachelor’s in English back in 2011. I’m out of practice currently though, so things might be a little rough at first. I enjoy writing fiction and non-fiction, and occasionally I’ll have a poetic thought that I will jot down. I have struggled with sharing my writing in the past, so since horse people can talk about horses at length, this seems to be an appropriate outlet for my writing.
I also enjoy photography (mainly of horses…), but I haven’t done as much of it lately. I do have the first six years or so of Copper’s life documented in excess, so do not be surprised if you see a lot of the most handsome gelding ever.
I own my own barn/farm, and board a few horses to fund my horse hobby. My goals are mostly focused on improving the facilities on the farm for my and boarder use. Feel free to follow me along on what is sure to be an interesting journey!
